The Math Test has been moved to Tuesday.

Two permission forms went home today, one for Vernon Waterslides on Juune 25th, and one for Riverside Park on June 26th.  Please return these back to Mme Mabee ASAP.  Please note that there is no cost for those students who did not request for their fundraising money to be returned.  If you did in fact get your fundraising money returned, you will be charged for both of these field trips.  We will be needing some parent chaperones for these field trips, so please send me an e-mail at smabee@sd73.bc.ca if you want to join us

Track and Field Tomorrow

Our school Track and Field meet is tomorrow all day.  Here are some reminders to ensure that you have a great day.

1. Dress for the weather.  Make sure to have lots of layers as it tends to be cooler in the morning.
2. Wear sunscreen.  Make sure to put some on before you leave the house in the morning, and re-apply during the day.
3. Wear a hat.
4. It's important to star hydrated, so bring a water bottle with your name on it.
5. Have a good sleep tonight so that you are ready to do your best tomorrow.

As you are all aware, there will be no teachers at the school on Monday.  Please be listening to the news and the radio for information as to when to return.  There is a newsletter from Mme Robb going home today, so please make sure that you give this to your parents.

While you are not at school, there are still some things you can be working on.

Wear Pink Tomorrow

We were to have our video conference today, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to talk with our Grade 6 counterparts in Rochester NY.  We did present our hard work to a Grade 2 class from the same school and our students did an excellent job.  Mme Hafeli is currently trying to find another Grade 7 class with which we can share our Runny Babbit poems.

Egyptian Market a Success

For all those who came to the Egyptian Market today, I'm sure you will all agree that it was a great success.  The costumes, food, and crafts were fantastic.  A big thanks needs to go to Mme Dumas who organized this event, and to all the parents who helped to make this afternoon so wonderful.

As much fun as we had today, there is a little bit of homework to get finished tonight.
